The 3R Awards (Refurb, Rethink, Retrofit) reward and celebrate design, engineering and construction excellence that prolongs the active life of buildings and infrastructure, helping the lower energy/lower carbon agenda.

Taking Root - Taking Part: Event at Camden Arts Centre

As part of erect architecture's residency at the Camden Arts Centre we have invited five experts (artists and scientists) to produce a piece about the wild edges of the garden at the centre. There will be short presentations, walks led by the artists, discussion and mapping. The event will inform the nature trail, which we are conceiving as part of our residency together with artist Ashley McCormick.

Please spread the news about the event on Saturday, August 20th. The more people there the better for a lively exchange.

A year after our Commendation at the Young Architects of the Year Awards we are suddenly finding ourselves in the very illustrious company of household names. The award will be given to the best body of education projects in the primary and secondary school sector. We have to wait until November however...
