Dexter Road Adventure Playground on Site

The adventure playground and playcentre at Dexter Road APG in Brixton is now on site. erect architecture are excited to see the progress of the ramshackle timber houses which form the playground, currently under construction by the Adventure Playground Engineers.


Earl's Court Road nears completion

erect architecture's most recent residential project is nearing completion. The family home within a conservation area in West London is in the final stages of construction, finished photos to come soon....

Director Barbara Kaucky is featured in the recent British Council's blog on the RIBA Shanghai Windows project. The recent 'Play Your Style' project visit to Shanghai is described by Projects and Events Manager at RIBA London, Antonia Faust. Barbara will be back in Shanghai in September for the next stage of the design process...watch this space.

Taking Root at Camden Arts Centre opens









During the Easter weekend erect architecture will unveil the first pieces of the new 'nature trail' in the wild edges of the garden at the Camden Arts Centre. Find out how your models have shaped the installations.
Come and venture beyond the threshold to experience the wilderness: Saturday and Sunday, April, 7th & 8th from 12-5pm.

erect architecture selected for RIBA shop windows in Shanghai

erect architecture has been selected to partner with Korean clothing label Haniiy to create a window display within Shanghai’s Xintiandi shopping centre in September 2012, as part of the RIBA's Shop Window collaborations. The architectural installations will form part of the UK Now festival, which celebrates British creative talent in China, and is supported by the British Council, Shui On Development Limited,  and RIBA London.

erect featured in new Gestalten publication

erect architecture recently contributed to the new Gestalten publication 'Learn for Life' which explores the  architecture of learning spaces worldwide. The book will be on sale from mid-February, and features Kilburn Grange Adventure Playground and Playcentre; Evelyn Court Play Area; and the 'Found Sound' workshops.

erect in Taking Root residency at Camden Arts Centre

















Come and participate in the design of installations for the garden at the Camden Arts Centre. These pieces will be the beginning of a 'trail', which invites the visitors to re-imagine and use the garden in interesting ways.
Sessions are running every afternoon and we will be talking about the process during Cafe Curio on Wednesday, February 15th at 7pm in the Artists' Studio at the Centre.
